    Change of status from H4 to F1

    Hi all,
    I have recently moved to USA on H4 and I am planning to pursue masters degree from USA. I want to know about the process of changing status. When exactly the process starts, after I get accepted in university? How long does it take and what documents does it need. Do I need to travel to my home country for VISA stamping or interview?
