Hi,
I applied for a PhD studentship to a US university for fall 2012. I was selected and an i20 was issued and sent to me, but owing to a technical issue in my application, the university later mailed me a letter saying that my admission had been revoked. I proceeded to do an MSc in the UK instead.
Now, after my master's, I wish to re-apply to the USA for a PhD. My question is - do I already have an existing SEVIS record, and will I have to explain the reason for my application being revoked previously?
Thanks!
