    F1 visa while immigration petition is in process

    hey,

    I am derivative beneficiary in f4 category. I am expecting my visa interview in November 2017 but my college will commence in August 2017. Will they issue me F1 visa ? i am planning to apply for f1 visa. should i apply or not? any help in the matter will be appreciated.
