H1B to F1 to H1B

Have maxed out on H1B and am currently on an approved I140.
I am planning to study Masters on F1.
Can I reapply for H1B again after Masters or should I leave the country for 1 year to reapply for H1B?
Another option is to move to H4 EAD since my wife has an approved I140.

If you have an approved I140, you can get an extension of your maxed out H1.
