I have a couple of questions:
1.I'm an international student, and I recently got married. When I obtained my marriage license, I was informed that if I wanted to change my name, I needed to visit the Social Security office first. However, upon visiting the SSO, they informed me that I must first change my name with immigration before they can issue a new social security card with my married name. Which form do I need to fill out for this process? Is there a fee associated? I couldn't find a specific form for this purpose.
2.My husband and I will be relocating to another state soon. Do I need to fill out a change of address form for this move, or is that only required when there's a pending application? If I need to update my address when we move, should I also initiate the name change process at that time? I'm unsure about the frequency of sending forms to USCIS and want to ensure I'm following the correct procedures. Any information on these matters would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
