On 12 month OPT, working for e-verify co. should apply for opt extn ?
Hello, This is my first post to the forum.
For me F1 visa was given only for 2 years and expired by Aug 2012.
I am currently on 12 month OPT due to expire by June 2013. I am working for a e-verify employer and they will be filing H1B petition as per schedule this year.
Now, I wish to know whether it is allowed and also advisable to apply seeking 17 month OPT extension to be on safe side?
