Back ground:
I am currently on OPT status will July 8th 2013, my college has exteded the I20 for the cap gap period till Sep 30th 2013. the company where i work has filed the H1 pettion, and it is approved and my H1B period is going to start from Oct 1st 2013. Before my F1 i was on H4 and my husband is currently on H1.
I would like to know if i can resign the company, travel to india in June 2013, come on the H4 stamping in September to US. If that is the case, will i be on H1 from October 1st 2013 on wards?
Second question: if the company revokes my H1 before Oct1st, would i still be on H1 from October 1st?
Third question: if any other company wants to transfer my H1 , do they have to do it only after October 1st or can they do it before that.
