    Travel on OPT + F1 Visa

    Hi,

    My wife is on OPT and it expires in Oct 2015. Her passport has a valid F1 visa till April 2016. We have plans to travel in jun mid and back by July middle.
    Is this travel safe?

    Someone from her company legal team said not safe but i don't see the reason.

    Please advise if you are able to..

      What does she plan to do when her OPT runs out?
      Surely the Customs and Border Patrol agents will ask her that at the airport.

        Hi,

        Thanks. We were thinking to convert to h4(that is the plan irrespective of this travel) as anyways opt is going to end.

        any thoughts?
