OPT not yet approved

Hello All

I have applied for OPT on July 28th and it was filed on Aug 18th(I767). I still havent got it approved yet. I had changed my address on aug 30th. I submitted my AR 11 form and I am still waiting for it to get approved.

I have a job offer in hand and am unable to join. I have already expedited my case through phone and have also faxed the offer letter to them. I got the response informing that I should be gettin a response to my expedition in about 60 days.

The case still says Recieved and Pending and nothing else.

Is this usual or has someone gone thru the same situation. gettin a lil bit worried down here... Some kind of suggestion or help would be really appreciated.

Talk to the international office at your university. Ask them to review your records to see if they can identify a problem with information submitted.
