I graduated with an MS in December 2008. My OPT started in Feb.2009 till Feb 2010. I will be applying for OPT extension and most probably I will get the 17 month extension till July 2011. I will apply for an H1 in April 2010 which will start in Oct 2010. This means I would have 9 months of unused OPT.
If I do an MBA after 2-3 years will I get the remaining 9 months of unused OPT after graduating from my MBA? I know that I don’t get a fresh OPT as OPT is only given once for a masters degree (MS or MBA) but will my remaining 9 months still be available after my MBA?
