Hi All,
I have read various posts here on the forum about expediting the OPT process. But I would be glad if someone evaluates my case.
I am graduating this December and my OPT reciept date is 29th September. I have requested for my OPT to start from 23rd December 2009 which is the starting date on my job offer letter as well. I am supposed to start working from the 23rd Dec but till date my OPT is still in initial review process.I am worried about my job if I dont get OPT in time owing to the upcoming holidays.
Can anyone please suggest what I need to do? I called the customer service and they told me tat I can open a service request under emergency conditions only. Is it true? If we expedite the service, than is there any chance in getting the EAD card or decision quicker?
