Related Area of study!?

Hi,
I have a Master's degree in Electrical engineering. I am skilled and have good experience in web development. So, I have a job offer for a web designer position. I am on my OPT now and am wondering if it's okay to pursue the job offer.

My wife is in the same situation. She has an MBA in finance and bachelors in computer science and got a job offer for a consultant (in an IT company, job description is java developer). Can she take this job on OPT?
