Brief case history:
Submitted my OPT extension application in June. The EAD expiration date was on 09 July. I received the package back as the payment fee didn't go through, so I sent it back again with the check. This time, it did go through. But the receipt that I got from USCIS has a date on it which is after my EAD expiration date. My cap-gap extension is also getting over on 30th September. My employer has filed for my H-1b in premium processing (submitted/initiated in 2nd week of September). We received a comprehensive RFE for the H-1B petition. The company is still addressing/putting together response package.
I have also initiated the EAD expedited request. But I haven't heard back from USCIS regarding it.
Can someone please answer the questions based on my case history mentioned above:
1) After September 30th, can I still work?
2) Is my Stem application in danger of getting rejected because of the date listed on the receipt?
3) Can I stay in the US after September 30th i.e am I out of status?
4) Am I eligible for the 180 day extension of employment authorization?
I really appreciate any input/guidance during this time of uncertainty.
