Hi, I am currently on my initial OPT and I received an offer at a new company. The offer is for an initial 12 months with an option for a permanent offer based on satisfactory performance. This is a direct employment by the employer and the offer is fulltime (35 hours per week). The employer is on E-Verify and all requirements of the STEM OPT are met (ie, E-Verify, >20 hours per week, employer-employee relationship). Are time-based employment like this accepted under STEM OPT?
