OPT Receipt

Hi, I have submitted my documents to USCIS on November 24th for obtaining a Post-Completion OPT. It's been close to 1.5 months and I haven't yet received the receipt notice from USCIS. As I do not have the receipt notice, I do not have any application number to contact the USCIS to ask about the status of my application. I am wondering if anyone else is/was in a similar boat and wondering what my course of action should be? Please help.

Just an update on this issue. I have continuously checked the status of my money order and finally, it has been cashed this week. This means that the application has been received and receipted. It seems the holidays and the change of government have slowed down the process substantially. However, as they mention in the website the processing time is between 3.5 to 7.5 months. So, any of you who are planning to apply for OPT, do anticipate this delay and apply accordingly.
