Hello everyone,
I have a potentially serious problem. One year ago I left the US and returned to my home country. I was on STEM OPT status at that time. The trip was sudden so I didn't prepare much. Now I just realized I did not submit STEM OPT final evaluation before leaving. I also didn't report my STEM OPT status for over a year.
I will contact my DSO ASAP but would like to ask some questions:
- Will this cause any legal problem preventing me from visiting or traveling to the US again?
- If I want to work in Canada in the future, will this affect my working visa for Canada?
