Transit Visa for Canada

Hi All,

I hold an Indian passport and currently work in the United States on a valid H1 B Visa that will expire on November 27,2014. In January 2014, I will be travelling to India via Toronto with my family and wanted to find out if me and my wife (valid H4 Visa expiring same day as mine) require a transit visa.

Yeah you both need a transit visa. Try to avoid Canada.

Canada does not apply to the transit without visa (TVOW) facility (except for four selected Asian countries for transits at Vancouver from/to the United States). If you need a visa to visit Canada you will also need to get a visa to transit via a Canadian airport.

I am travelling from Pak to the USA on B2 visa and My flight goes through canada. How may I get the transit visa?
