Urgent!! H1 visa not stamped, but B1 is. can i use B1 visa to fly through UK/Europe?

Hi,
My h1 visa is not stamped on passport - its expired. But i have B1 visa stamped on passport.
I entered to US using H1 visa. Can i use B1 visa to travel to India via UK/Europe?
I heard if visa is not stamped, one cannot fly through these countries.

Please help.

nevermind. booked the tickets

nobody answered so i ended up booking direct flights which were costly
