I'm on H1B. I have submitted my passport to Chicago consulate for renewal. It may take another 2-3 weeks to receive my processed passport.

Will it be ok to take a domestic flight within US before I get my processed passport? Can I show my Driver's license as valid photo ID?

Yes, government photo ID is all you need to travel within continental U.S.
