Can i transit through MILAN (ITALY) Airport with an expired US Visa?

Hi friends, i have an expired US Visa and i am going from JFK to INDIA by Emirates with a stop over in MILAN (ITALY) Airport and my transit time in MILAN Airport is 2 hrs. So, am i allowed to transit through MILAN Airport with an expired US VISA? or Do i need a Airport transit visa? Please advise here on whom i can contact regarding this?

I think you can transit Milan airport if you don't go to the city. Just to seat and wait for the next flight
