    Carrying medication to US

    If one has a chronic medical condition(requiring daily medicine) and is planning to go to the US from India to study on F1 visa, can he carry all his medication along? I would like to know if there are any restrictions on the amount of medication one can carry to the USA, as in this case there would be a lot of medicines involved.
