I am traveling this month from Chennai to Dallas on EY via AUH. My mom who is in her 80s will be travelling with me and we will be using wheel chair assistance for her during the airport transition. the connection window in AUH is only 90 minutes. I would like to know from others who have been through this journey whether this is adequate time for the connection to be made safely considering the wheel chair situation as well as having to go through U.S immigration in AUH? I am a U.S citizen and my mom and sister who will be accompanying me are on tourist visa.
I am also interested in knowing whether the bags are checked in through final destination or do we have to retrieve luggage in AUH and recheck them to Dallas final destination.
