Hello,
This is my first time travelling to India under OCI and also travelling after several years.
With lots of changes lately, I'm lost on which forms to fill and on where will those form provided.
Travelling from USA to India:
1. What are all the forms that I would need to fill when travelling from USA to India?
2. Where will those forms be provided?
3. What is the max US $ I can carry as currencies?
4. What is the max Indian Rupees I can carry as currencies?
5. Is it better to get Indian Rupees from Travelex in USA (or) get US $ converted to Indian Rupees upon reaching India at the Airport?
6. I will be carrying some small gift items like USB, Power bank, Candy, Nuts, etc. Are these considered as dutiable goods?
7. Should I carry receipts for the gifts that I will be taking to India incase I am asked for the total value in terms of Indian Rupees?
8. Where would I get a SIM for my US Unlocked phone, since I do not have Aadhaar card?
Travelling back to USA:
5. What are the forms that need to be filled when travelling back from India to USA?
6. Where will those forms be provided?
7. What is the max US $ I can carry as currencies while coming back to USA?
