LCD/LED TV from USA to Inida

I am planning to buy a LCD/LED TV in US and take it Inida. And would like to know if there is any minor/major hitch. All TVs in the USA are sold with the NTSC system only. Whereas in INDIA we have the PAL B/G TV system and all cable/DTH/ DVDs are in PAL only.
Question is how can one use such NTSC only LCD TV sets in places like India? Obviously the solution should be such that there is NO degradation in picture quality.

Anyone who recently took LCD TV from USA to India? Am planning to do the same and need some guidance.

You can take your LCD/LED tv. Latest TVs have the capability to play both formats. However, you need to ensure you have a bigger voltage convertor, pertinent to the TV ratings. this can be costly & teh reliability is bad. you are better off buying a tv in india. You get almost all brands & the hassle is less. most US models are refused service in india, as they are not authorised to service models not launched in india.
