Hi,
My grandfather and grandmother are going to India and they are planning to take about 15 cordless phones as a gift for different relatives. Phones will be split into 4 different bags, but will this create any problem? Is this allowed under custom laws? All of the items combined is worth $300. Since duty free allowance per person is $500, I don't foresee any problem but I want to make sure they are not harassed at the airport.
Is there a law that puts a limit on number of same type of product that can be carried?
