I am citizen of India, in US working on H1B. I changed from company Y to company X in Nov 2012 after getting my H1 transfer approval but at this moment, I don't have visa stamp for new employer as old employer visa stamp until Dec 2013 along with H1 approval notice and new I94 is sufficient. I am planning to visit India in September 2013 have a this question regarding travelling outside of US. Questions are below,
From USA, If I want to transit via UK (British Airways, Transit in London under 6 hours, will stay within the terminal) to India and come back in the same route to USA, is the VISA stamp I have currently (via previous employer, until Dec 2013) sufficient enough to be called a valid visa (and thus no need of transit visa)?
Or
Is it considered an invalid visa (although travel date is less than Visa end date but employer on Visa stamp is old one) and do I need UK transit visa?
Please let me know. Thank you.
