What visa should i apply for visiting UK for a week.. visitor or tourist visa?

Hello,

I am staying in USA on H1-B visa. I am planing to visit India for a vacation but want to stopover at UK for a week. My brother stays in UK on work visa. I would like to visit my brother for a week and then proceed to India from UK.

1) What type of UK visa do I need. Should it be a visitor visa or tourist visa?
2) What documents do I need?
