Transfer of residence from UK to Delhi

I am new to this forum please let me know if i have posted on correct forum

I am moving back to india on transfer of residence basis from UK , with my personnel goods in a container...

Would like advise on custom clearance and transportation from Mumbai port to delhi
1. Will the custom clearance done in mumbai or delhi?
2. Which will be better choice for custom clearance and how much costs will be involved
3. Estimate of cost of transportation from mumbai to delhi for a container and best approach please?

Any refeernces for the clearing agents will be appreciated
