I had few queries regarding Transit visa to UK, I visited your webpage https://www.immihelp.com/foreign-tra...ia-usa-travel/, however I request more clarity per my case:
My Background :-
I am a Indian citizen with valid Indian Passport residing in the USA for an year and with a valid USA visa for next few years.
My I-140 is approved (change in status) and i am in next stage I 485 Pending (initiated)
I have a tentative itenary of November to travel from US via London to India and then back to US.
My query:-
I read that an advanced payroll holder with valid US visa need not get a transit UK visa. - I just wanted to understand if that's correct?
If I don't require the transit visa-can i go out and stay in London for 24-48 hours ?
Is there any time limitation under the waiver for visa not required.
If i fall under the UK visa not required?what is the formality or document required for my stay in London and Is this something I can get at the London airport/ visa on arrival?
In a nutshell,Please let me know if there is any limitation on the processes or visa's for Indian citizen even though they have valid US visa and a return ticket to USA.
