My situation. My wife is currently enrolled at the University of Edinburgh for her second masters and just got accepted into a PHD program there as well. She is living there on a tier 4 student visa. I stayed behind in the states to save up money and join her once she got accepted into her PHD program (was not 100% sure she would get in). I did not want to leave my job until I knew the stay was going to be for more than a year. Now that she got accepted, I want to join her and start looking for a job. From what I read I can join her on her tier 4 student visa. I cannot find anywhere if I am able to maintain a full time job while on her visa. Is this just a simple apply as her dependent and go over there and job search or do I have to jump through hoops to be able to work?
