My family moved here 9 years ago from Zimbabwe, I was 12 at time time and haven't left the country since. My mother is a British Citizen, ancestrally. (Born in Zimbabwe, grandfather is British and she has a British Passport)
The only document I have is my birth certificate from my home country, the whole family's passports have been lost.
I can't apply for university until I have this sorted as student finance requires British identification. Finding a job proved fairly difficult too. What can I do to get on the right track and sort this out so I can move on with my life?
Any and all advice is welcome and sincerely appreciated.
