Do I need a Transit Visa if traveling from Canada to India via LHR Airport?

Hi There,

Please help me to find the right answer before my travel. I would really appreciate your correct/confirm answers for below.

I am an Indian citizen and holding Canada Work visa. I am planning to travel from Canada to India, via Heathrow airport,London. Also return on the same way with 2-3 hours lay over at (Heathrow airport,London). Do I need to have DATV(direct airside Transit visa) ?

If YES, then when and where to apply for the DATV with all details like fees and timing it would take to process etc.
