Hi all,
I am an Australian person living in Sweden. My husband is an EU citizen who recently got a job in the UK, and will need to move there in a couple of weeks.
I'm fairly sure the visa I need to apply for is an EEA family permit. However, it might be the case that the processing time (approx 15 days) might take longer than the date by which he needs to move.
As an Aussie, can I simply enter the UK on a standard visitor visa and apply for the EEA permit while living there? Or must I wait for a confirmation on the EEA family permit before traveling to the UK?
