Doubt about DATV (Direct Airside Transit Visa) Expired F1
Hello!
I am pursuing my PhD in US and came here with an F1 visa for MS which expired in June 2017. I am going to India on 30th December 2017 to renew my F1 visa to India. I am going via London. I reach London on 31st December 2017.
I believe I need DATV visa since my F1 is expired (but i20 is valid) Has someone had a similar experience? Can you please share it? I cannot find any forum anywhere decribing this situation. Please help! Thanks!
