    Is visa applicationconfidential?

    Hello everybody
    I have a question about the confidentiality of visa application to the UK. A few days ago, I applied for and was granted a visa, based on a UK work permit. Now is the status of my application completely confidential or not? In other words, can anyone, including my employer, know whether I got the visa or not and how long I got it for?
