Hi, I'm new here and I'm not sure where to post this so if you need to move it, feel free.
A Little Background that has happened for the past year:
I am a US Citizen. My husband came here and we got married and became Conditional Permanent Resident. We have been married for one year.Everything has been great since. I was wondering about the traveling part on this? ::::Can he leave the country and not get banned from the US?
He had a job for 4 months but we decided to go back to the UK because his dad owns a company and offered him a great Job! He is still considered as a UK Citizen and still has a UK Passport. I want to go with him to settle, and my mother in law called immigration and they told me that I would have to fill out an application for a Settlement Visa.
My questions are: Does anyone know the fee of this application? Can anyone tell me what I have to do once I get there and how long I have until I need to go to interviews and a medical exam? Are we able to live with his parents Temporary until we get on our feet and get a house? If so, how long is temporary? What all would they need to see once I get into the country? And, What do you really tell the immigration once entering?
