The F-1 stamped in my passport expires in 2010. In Jan 2007 I started my OPT which expires on Jan 10 2008. I have the I-797A for my H-1 and I guess that became active in October. I'm planning to travel through London (British Airways) in the last week of December. I will be getting my H-1 stamped in India. So my question is, do I need a transit visa on the outbound leg (to India), even though my F-1 is valid until 2010 and my opt expires in Jan 08?
