visit visa UK - from a b1/b2 holder

Hello,

My mom is a indian citizen travelling to USA in Jan2008 for 6months on b1/b2 visa.

On her way back to India, I want her to stay in london for a week.

I'm wondering..If she can apply for a visit visa to UK in USA as a b1 holder?

I didnt want her to apply to UK visit visa from india as she can only get for 6 months which is not enough as she would be staying in US for 6 months and by then UK visa will be invalid.

Please adivce.

Did your mom got visa to UK when she applied from US?
I want to apply visit visa for my mom too from here in US. Please let me know if my mom cam get the visa to UK.
