Hello all: I have an expired H1-B stamp and therefore DO NOT qualify for exemption from the DATV requirement for transit through Heathrow on my way to India from USA.
However, I do have a valid UK visitor visa , which I plan to use for a visit to UK on my return journey from India to USA. The UK visitor visa has a multiple entry validity and is valid until March 2009 (my transit will happen in November 2008).
So the question is whether I can use the valid UK visitor visa to staisfy the DATV requirement? or do i still need the DATV stamped on my passport?
Any help or sharing of similar experience(s) will be helpful.
Thanks,
