Changing Indian Passport Name from UK

Hi,

I am currently in UK and I would like to change my name in my Indian passport from UK. Can anyone have any idea how to do this? in my current passport I have 3 year valid HSMP visa, will the status of this visa changes if I get new passport?

Hello dear,

if you want to update in your indian passport from UK , then there is no issue for your HSMP visa which is on your current passport, because when you renew pasport and if you have visa on old passport then its still valid,
you might be ask to Indian embassy in UK, they will guide you
