  • what is the difference? DATV and Visitor in Transit

    Hi,

I am an Indian Citizen holding L1 VISA (valid till 2011). I am currently in USA and likely to go back to India in October,2009 .

My flight is via London and I have schedule to get 7 days stop in London to visit my cousins.

I had started with online application for UK VISA from USA.
On the second page I was asked to fill up type of VISA I am applying for.

I am aware that Visitor in transit is applicable only if we want to be in UK for less than 48 hours. Though, can you please let me know which is the proper VISA type that I should select?
    1. (General) Family upto 6 months
    2. (Special) Visitor in Transit
    3. (Special) Direct Air Side Transit

OR is there any other VISA type, I should select ?

    Thanks,
    whizsid
