I'm an Indian national in US on H1B and flying via london shortly. Since My H1B is not stamped on passport , so I was advised to get a transit visa for London.
I filled application and waiting for my biometric appointment, when I noticed that I applied for "Visit Visa", whereas I probbaly needed a DATV. My stopover in London is just 2 hours, and have no intention of visting UK.
What should I do...
1 - Should I cancel my current application, and fill another one for a DATV visa, and start over the process ?
2 - Fill another application for DATV, but utilize my existing appointment for biometric?
3. Use same application form, but change Visa Type to DATV on form before sending application
4. Do nothing, and use Visit Visa itself (not sure if this is a valid option, since India is among the list of DATV countries)
Can someone please advise?
