US visa expiring one month after return

I have an Indian passport with H1B visa valid till the beginning of February 2010. I am planning to travel to the UK in December 2009 and returning on January 3rd, 2010. My passport is valid till 2015. I am not sure if I require a valid H1 visa beyond 3 months of last date of stay in UK. Please let me know. This is urgent.

There is no such rule. You can enter the US up to the last day of the visa stamp duration.

Thanks. I know I would be able to enter the US but would I be able to get the UK visa. Is there a rule that I should have 3 months of US visa validity since the last day of stay in UK
