    UK Transit Visa

    Hi ,

    I have a expired visa and going on vacation to India from USA.
    Can someone let me know the process for getting a transit visa to UK & Germany (assuming a transit is required).
    I have heard from few folks that getting a UK Transit visa is tough.
    Please guide me
