    hey..
i applied for UK dependent visa as my husband is working there on Tier 1 visa..they rejected my application in whose response i appealed..my appeal got accepted..now the problem is my husband's visa expires in april and he has already applied for his extension which he will most probably get IA...

i haven't yet received a call from the embassy to submit my passport .Anyway what i wanted advice about is that if i submit my passport with my husband's extended visa would the British embassy stamp my passport for the same duration of time or will they stamp the passport until the date of the current visa??

    need info asap please

Thats a tough cookie!!! i can tell you based on my experience of appeals... it took the home office 4 months to process the appeal i had won and ask for my passport (inspite of me calling them loads of times and making official complaint to their complaint dept)... Considering the fact that I was already in the UK and it still took them 4 moths, I guess a good 6 months time will be taken by the British Embassy to process your appeal and ask for your passport.

In my opinion, if you apply for a visa as a dependent along with the extension of your husband's visa, the chances are better that it will get processed sooner, and your visa will expire on the same date as your husband's extended date!!!
