Hello
We currently live in the US, and are looking to travel to India and we have to change flights at London Heathrow (3 hr layover). Our L visas have just expired, but we have already secured petition renewals and a new I-94, we will also get our visa's stamped and updated before we return from India.
I am an Australian national, therefore exempt from a UK DATV altogether. As my wife is travelling with me is she also automatically exempt from an DATV?
It states, "A transit passenger is not required to hold a transit visa if he holds or a person with whom he arrives in the United Kingdom holds on his behalf"
Can someone please clarify the above line? Does it imply my wife is automatically exempt from my exemption?
Thanks
