    Traveling to India via UK with F1 visa

    Hi,

    Are the old rules still hold valid ?

    I have a F1 visa which is expiring on 30th May 2012 but I'm on H1B currently. I'm going to India on Dec 9th 2011 and my transit is airside only( I would probably stay 4 hrs max.). Do I still need to have DATV?

    You can travel without DATV. All they need to see is a valid Visa. Your current status in US does not matter.
