Hello everybody.
I am new in this forum and I want to ask anybody who can answer me, please do it, because I really need that.
My fiance has recently applied for asylum in the US (about 2 weeks ago). He lives in the US and I reside and work in Canada on work permit. I can apply for Permanent Residency in Canada in about 6 months from now and hopefully can get that after about 1 year from applying.
If his asylum case get accepted, would it be a problem for me to be added to his case if I have a PR status from Canada?
I have heard that having a PR from other countries like Canada will result in refusing me to be added to his case and finally doesn't let us to get together in the same country e.g. the US.
Please advise me or I will be in trouble.
Thank you guys for your time and everything.
