Hi,
I recently moved my asylum case from NYC to San Francisco and my master hearing date is schedule for the end of 2016. The judge is unknown for now. When I marry my boyfriend, a US citizen, how will I be able to close my asylum case? Will I have to wait till my master hearing to close it and apply for a green card through marriage only in 1.5 year or can I apply right away and then just show up at a court next year to close the case?
