Hello all
I got selected for DV-2016, my number is quite high (less than 100), and reading the Visa Bulletin for Sept 2015, it appears certain I can file I-485 Adjustment of Status to USCIS in September or October.
However, my existing WT/WB Visa Waiver Program (VWP) expires September 20th!
I am struggling if I should fly somewhere for a short and cheap holiday, and then come back in with another VWP.
Or, fly home (expensively), and apply for a B1/B2 visa, and come back for my AOS.
I am concerned that if I come back with a VWP (cheap option both time and money wise), they will reject my AOS. But it will take much longer to file DS-160 to get B2 visa, and for my career, the less time I spend away from USA this year, the better.
Please help!
